Structural Analysis Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join Mubea’s Turkey engineering office in Istanbul Teknopark. The role focuses on stress analysis of aircraft fuselage structures, supporting global aerospace programs and collaborating with international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform static, fatigue and crack growth analyses on fuselage structures (ATA52, ATA53) using established methods and standards.
• Generate and review stress documentation, including stress dossiers for verification and certification.
• Develop and adapt pre‑ and post‑processing routines for calculation data.
• Support optimisation of analysis processes and procedures within the team.
• Collaborate closely with global engineering partners, including Airbus.

Required profile

• Degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft structural analysis, including static, fatigue and damage tolerance.
• Interest in composite structures and willingness to develop further.
• Good understanding of Part 21J/Part 21G airworthiness regulations.
• Experience in an Airbus engineering environment is a plus.
• Strong command of English, both written and technical.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NASTRAN and PATRAN.
• Experience using HyperWorks and ISAMI (preferred).
• Knowledge of analytical calculation methods (e.g., Bruhn, HSB, Niu).
• Programming skills in Python (preferred) or VBA.
