Supply Chain Director

About the role

SCHOTT Orim Türkiye, a leading glass manufacturer with production sites in Bolu and Çerkezköy, is seeking a Supply Chain Director to lead all supply chain functions across both locations. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will oversee logistics, procurement, inventory, and production planning while driving alignment with corporate strategy and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an end‑to‑end supply chain strategy that supports corporate and regional objectives.
• Oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, material planning, and distribution to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
• Manage supplier performance, risk mitigation, and contract compliance.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, service levels, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with site operations, finance, quality, and regional SCM teams for transparent performance reporting.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing team of 2 direct reports and ~75 indirect reports across both sites.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and international trade regulations.
• Monitor KPIs and present results to local and regional leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive supply chain experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership of multi‑site operations.
• Fluent English (C1 level) and strong communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as APICS (CLTD, CSCP, CPIM) or CIPS are preferred.

Required skills

• Strong command of SAP and advanced supply chain planning tools.
