Supply Chain Director

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Director to lead and develop all supply chain functions for SCHOTT Orim Türkiye’s two production sites in Bolu and Çerkezköy. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for logistics, procurement, inventory, and production planning while overseeing a team of direct and indirect reports.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an end‑to‑end supply chain strategy aligned with corporate and regional objectives.
• Oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, material planning and distribution across both sites.
• Manage supplier performance, risk mitigation and contract compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, service levels and sustainability.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, quality and regional SCM teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing supply chain team of ~75 indirect reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements and international trade regulations.
• Monitor KPIs and present results to local and regional leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of progressive supply chain experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership of multi‑site operations.
• Fluent English (C1 level) required.
• Preferred certifications: APICS (CLTD, CSCP, CPIM) and/or CIPS.

Required skills

• Strong command of SAP and advanced supply chain planning tools.
• APICS certifications (CLTD, CSCP, CPIM) or CIPS qualification.
