Supply Planning Manager

About the role

Hayat, a global FMCG company founded in 1987 with 16 brands and over 10,000 employees, is looking for a Supply Planning Manager in Başiskele/Kocaeli. The role prepares long- and short-term production plans, plans material requirements and keeps supply on time with optimal stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare long- and short-term production plans according to budget, forecast and customer orders, keep them up to date and follow their implementation.
• Plan material requirements taking into account raw material and packaging qualifications, machine capacities, warehouse stock levels and factors such as public holidays, weather, transportation, seasonality and price increases.
• Anticipate restrictions such as capacity, personnel, purchase and procurement and take the necessary actions.
• Create purchase requests in SAP and coordinate with the purchasing team so that purchase orders reach the facility on time.
• Monitor and improve supply planning KPIs such as stock-day numbers, inert and excess inventory and stock-out ratio.
• Ensure S&OP processes are carried out properly and support supply on time with optimum stock levels.
• Contribute to cost-reduction studies and provide raw materials and packaging for new products based on monthly sales targets from Demand Planning.
• Support system development projects, keep SAP, BO and BW reports up to date and help reform and improve processes.
• Attend customer-category meetings when needed, prepare unit instructions and procedures, and support production in determining CAPEX needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of supply chain production planning experience.
• Experience in FMCG or a similar industry.
• University degree in engineering.
• Understanding of the sales and operations planning process and experience managing supply reviews in the S&OP cycle.
• Fluency in English; IBP and PPDS experience is an asset.

Required skills

• Prior experience with the SAP MM module and MRP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and focus on quality and continuous improvement.
