System Administration and Security Specialist

About the role

This position covers the design, administration and security of hybrid cloud infrastructure, centred on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. It also includes backup, disaster recovery and business continuity, and takes part in infrastructure projects and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install and continuously improve Azure infrastructure, including cost optimisation and resource utilisation
• Manage Azure network components (VNet, subnet, NSG, route table, VPN, peering)
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Manage the Microsoft Defender family (Cloud, Office 365, Endpoint) and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access and identity management
• Monitor Azure Security Center recommendations and raise the Secure Score; track Microsoft Purview compliance
• Manage Windows Server and Active Directory, and VMware virtualisation environments
• Run Backup, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes
• Take an active role in infrastructure projects and improve operational processes

Required profile

• University graduate in a related field (e.g. Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering)
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud and system infrastructure
• Strong hands-on and management experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, and hybrid (on-premises + cloud) architectures
• Good technical English and advanced analytical, problem-solving and crisis-management skills
• Disciplined in documentation and process management

• Linux (preferably Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server
• Automation with PowerShell, Azure CLI or similar tools
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewall and basic networking
• Performance monitoring, capacity planning and system optimisation
• Security best practices, Zero Trust, ISO 27001 and GDPR/KVKK
