System Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a System Support Specialist to join Hitit Computer Services’ IT team. The role involves building and maintaining hardware, network and system infrastructures for both internal users and airline customers, ensuring continuous operation and accessibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install and configure hardware, network and system infrastructure components.
• Provide user access definitions and equipment provisioning.
• Monitor system availability, perform troubleshooting and resolve incidents reported via the Help Desk.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to communicate module‑related issues and support resolutions.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, version control (SVN) and help files.
• Implement security definitions and ensure continuity of services, including DR system monitoring.
• Install and support software used for infrastructure operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 1‑5 years of experience in system or infrastructure support.
• Willingness to work in three daily shifts on‑site.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and effective team player.

Required skills

• Linux operating system and basic Linux commands.
• Windows Server operating system.
• MS Office and reporting tools.
• SVN version control system.
