Tax & Accounting Supervisor

About the role

A Tax & Accounting Supervisor is needed to support the preparation of financial statements in line with Turkish Accounting Standards and the Tax Procedure Law (VUK), and to work closely with reporting, budgeting and finance teams on daily operations, audits and closing. The role also covers financial risk analysis and control across domestic and international group companies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of financial statements according to Turkish Accounting Standards and the Tax Procedure Law (VUK)
• Coordinate with reporting, budgeting and finance teams on daily operations, audits and closing
• Develop plans and recommendations to improve accounting process efficiency and help implement them
• Plan, execute and report financial risk analysis and control processes for domestic and international group companies
• Perform monthly and periodic financial risk and performance analyses, identify variances and risks and report them to management with corrective actions
• Conduct monthly trial balance analyses and present financial variances to management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field (preferred)
• At least 8 years of experience in tax accounting, with strong knowledge of controlling practices
• Experience in Big Four firms and multinational companies preferred
• CPA certificate is a must
• Advanced level of English
