Technical Advisor - Patisserie Chef

About the role

Puratos, a global leader in bakery, patisserie and chocolate ingredients, is strengthening its team in Istanbul with a Technical Advisor - Patisserie Chef. Due to rapid growth, the role plays an important part in sales, combining technical demonstrations, product development advice and training.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical demonstrations in the patisserie field using Puratos products across all sales channels
• Give technical advice on product development and range positioning together with R&D and Marketing
• Follow local and global patisserie trends and reflect them in finished products
• Create pastry recipes to build the recipe database
• Train customers, newcomers and the local technical advisor team on basic and advanced patisserie
• Support patisserie marketing activations such as customer and consumer events, digital media, platforms and PR
• Support the required work across all regions in Turkey

Required profile

• 5+ years of production experience in the food and patisserie sector
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• People management skills to work with customers, cross-functional teams and third parties
• Organizational and time management skills
• Creative thinker with a vision
• Willingness to travel domestically to customers and potential sites
