Technical Market & Services Lab Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Market & Services Lab Assistant to join our laboratory in Istanbul. The role supports formulation and testing of paints and construction materials, ensuring product quality meets customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform laboratory work including formulation and application testing of paints and construction materials.
• Develop new formulations and improve product quality based on customer needs.
• Prioritize work packages with the laboratory manager and deliver results on schedule.
• Document test results accurately in Excel.
• Order raw materials and consumables to keep laboratory operations efficient.
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimise workflows and identify synergies.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, health and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in an application laboratory, preferably in the paint industry.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive ownership of results and ability to overcome obstacles.
• Fluent English.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
