Tool Designer Specialist

About the role

Festo is seeking a Tool Designer Specialist to join its Manisa facility. The role focuses on managing and developing injection mould projects, ensuring manufacturability, and supporting continuous improvement of tooling solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage injection mould projects within the tool shop.
• Develop mould concepts and design solutions based on product requirements.
• Conduct manufacturability and feasibility studies.
• Create 3D mould designs using Creo CAD software.
• Perform mould flow simulations and support optimisation activities.
• Coordinate tool manufacturing, validation, and commissioning processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, production teams, and suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement of existing moulds.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in injection mould design.
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection mould design principles.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Creo CAD software.
• Moldex or similar mould flow simulation tools.
• Understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
