Account Director

About the role

Publicis Groupe Turkey, which operates 14 agencies covering data, performance marketing, media, advertising and PR, is looking for an Account Director in Istanbul. You will lead the strategic and day-to-day management of key client accounts, acting as a trusted partner and ensuring integrated campaigns and projects are delivered successfully.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assigned client accounts so that projects, campaigns and deliverables meet agreed objectives, timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, translating their needs into clear briefs and opportunities for the agency.
• Develop and run integrated campaigns from briefing and strategy through production, delivery and evaluation, collaborating with creative, strategy, media, production and digital teams.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, scopes, approvals and risks, and guide Account Managers and Account Executives.
• Lead client meetings, presentations and status updates, and monitor account performance and client satisfaction.
• Identify growth and new business opportunities within existing accounts and help develop proposals and presentations.
• Own account financials, including budgeting, forecasting, scope management and commercial performance where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in an advertising, creative, digital or media agency or similar client-facing environment, managing key client accounts.
• Proven ability to build senior-level client relationships and strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience in budget, scope and account financial management.
• Good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
