Accountant – Istanbul (Esenyurt)

About the role

Codognotto, an international logistics group, is seeking an Accountant for its Istanbul office in Esenyurt. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities and collaborating with both local and group finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal procedures.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, management reports and accounting reports for local management and Group functions.
• Issue and control purchase and sales invoices and perform regular account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with external financial consultants and the Group Finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Junior Accountant/Accountant in an international corporate environment.
• Business‑fluent English (B2) and good knowledge of Turkish accounting principles and tax legislation.
• Strong analytical ability, accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of the LOGO accounting system (asset).
