Financial Manager – Hotel Finance Controller

About the role

The Financial Manager safeguards hotel assets and financial resources, ensuring they are used to maximise operating results. Working closely with the executive team, the role provides timely, accurate financial information to drive profitability within legal and corporate guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the annual business plan with the General Manager and Executive Committee and conduct monthly P&L meetings.
• Monitor and control revenues and expenses, prepare monthly forecasts, financial reports, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Optimize cash position, safeguard contracts, licences and insurance policies, and maintain relationships with owners and external partners.
• Act as the main contact for auditors and implement audit recommendations.

Required profile

• BA/BSc in finance, accounting or related field; CPA/ACA/ACCA or MBA (Financial) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a financial controller, preferably in a 5‑star hotel chain.
• Fluent in Turkish and English, with strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, handle pressure and provide proactive solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with hotel accounting software (specific systems not listed).
• Knowledge of GAAP, PCI DSS, local tax regulations and hotel accounting practices.
• Expertise in reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
