Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead daily accounting activities for Straumann Group in Turkey, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Turkish GAAP and IFRS, and alignment with global finance policies. The role involves close collaboration with finance, operations, and audit teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, preparing P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Supervise general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, accruals and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and group‑wide IFRS standards.
• Support statutory and group audits, preparing documentation and coordinating with auditors.
• Manage internal control frameworks, accounting policies and ERP enhancements.
• Mentor and oversee the accounting team to achieve performance excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification (CPA, SMMM, YMM) is a strong advantage.
• 5‑7 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting principles, IFRS, tax legislation and reporting standards.
• Proven ability to manage financial closes, audits and internal controls.
• Fluent in Turkish and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
