Jr. Accounting Specialist

About the role

Guess, a global fashion leader, is looking for a motivated Jr. Accounting Specialist to join its Turkey accounting team. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience with daily financial operations, month‑end closing and compliance with Turkish accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations and month‑end closing processes.
• Record, reconcile and monitor invoices, payments and expense reports.
• Ensure accurate classification of general‑ledger entries and maintain audit‑ready records.
• Assist with accounts receivable aging, intercompany transaction reconciliation and statutory filings such as VAT and withholding tax.
• Update internal accounting procedures, manuals and organize digital/physical financial documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, problem‑solving attitude and ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; Oracle experience is a plus.
