Accounting Senior Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Senior Specialist to ensure our accounting records comply with Turkish tax legislation and IFRS, and to support the financial control system across our global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records in line with Turkish tax law and IFRS.
• Monitor and control expense, investment, purchasing, sales, inventory, and fixed‑asset accounts.
• Organise interim and year‑end stock‑taking activities and manage inventory, import, and cost‑accounting processes.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, month‑end closing, and bank transaction reconciliations.
• Prepare tax returns, declarations, and weekly payment plans.
• Support company‑wide audit processes and lead projects to improve financial control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience, preferably in audit processes.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP FI‑CO (preferred).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting, budgeting and taxation.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
