Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Accounting Specialist will join Knauf Türkiye’s Finance Team in Ankara, supporting the full spectrum of accounting activities for a global construction materials manufacturer. You will ensure accurate processing of supplier and customer invoices, payroll records, and expense statements while maintaining compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record supplier invoices, prepaid expenses, and related accounting entries.
• Create and post payroll summaries, personnel expense statements, and manage employee advances.
• Handle customer invoices, returns, bonuses, damage compensation, and exchange‑rate differences.
• Issue invoices to customers and suppliers, including adjustments for price, exchange‑rate, and scrap sales.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of salaries, expense statements, per diems, and advance accounts.
• Conduct vendor reconciliations and manage inter‑company invoicing procedures.
• Support periodic closing of bonus agreements and related system entries.
