Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our Operations Department in Ankara, working with cutting‑edge UAV and robotics technologies. The role involves managing all local accounting activities, e‑invoicing, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with Turkish tax and Technopark regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor local accounting processes, including monthly and annual closing, depreciation, and financial statement preparation.
• Manage e‑invoice and e‑accounting workflows, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Perform project‑based cost accounting, allocating, tracking, analyzing, and reporting costs for R&D and Technopark projects.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly and annual Technopark exemption and incentive reports, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Liaise with internal departments and external auditors, supporting audit processes and improving internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in corporate environments.
• Certified Public Accountant (SMMM) license.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting, tax, and Technopark legislation.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+) and Turkish.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Odoo ERP (hands‑on experience).
• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
• Experience in R&D, Technopark, and incentive accounting.
• Project‑based cost accounting and financial analysis.
