Key responsibilities
- Carry out conceptual or theoretical work on the principles of engineering, physics and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Analyze the static (structural) and dynamic (vibrations, dynamic aeroelasticity) behaviour of compression system airfoils.
- Develop deep knowledge of airfoil mechanical design, analysis and manufacturing in a multidisciplinary environment with aeromechanics and compression system experts.
- Develop processes and promote the use of AI-supported solutions for airfoil design trade-offs in collaboration with adjacent disciplines.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members.
