AI Designer

About the role

Puffy, a top‑5 US mattress brand with over $1 billion in sales, is looking for an AI Image Specialist to own AI‑generated hero, lifestyle and advertising imagery for its ecommerce and marketing channels. You will define prompting approaches, reference workflows and production standards, reporting to the UX/UI Design Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI‑assisted workflows that produce photorealistic product imagery at brand‑standard consistency.
• Create reusable prompting techniques, reference‑image libraries and quality standards for the design team.
• Produce end‑to‑end creative assets, from AI generation through compositing, retouching and final delivery for ecommerce pages and paid campaigns.
• Collaborate with Growth, CRO and UI/UX teams to integrate imagery into page layouts and improve visual hierarchy.
• Evaluate new image‑generation models and adopt tools that improve quality or efficiency.

Required profile

• Exceptional portfolio showcasing commercial AI‑generated photorealistic product and lifestyle imagery.
• Hands‑on experience with UI/UX design and understanding of how images perform within live interfaces.
• Ability to build systematic, repeatable workflows that deliver consistent results at scale.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with ChatGPT Images / GPT Image models.
• Advanced proficiency with Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image).
• Strong experience with Midjourney, FLUX/Stable Diffusion/ComfyUI, Adobe Firefly or equivalent platforms.
• Expertise in prompt engineering, visual prompting, image‑to‑image, inpainting, outpainting and iterative editing.
• Advanced Photoshop, compositing and retouching skills.
• Fundamentals of composition, lighting, perspective, color and art direction.
• Hands‑on UI/UX design experience within established design systems.
