AI Developer

About the role

Agito is building next‑generation insurance platforms and seeks an AI Developer to shape AI‑native software development. You will design domain‑aware AI systems and create workflows that let engineering teams build faster, smarter, and more consistently using large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement LLM‑powered, domain‑aware solutions for insurance use cases.
• Create and maintain structured and unstructured domain knowledge stores.
• Develop context‑engineering and RAG architectures that leverage enterprise data and business rules.
• Build AI‑assisted development pipelines, including code generation, AI‑driven code review, and automated test creation.
• Integrate AI tools into CI/CD pipelines and define standards for AI‑assisted development.
• Develop scalable LLM services, work with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Design evaluation pipelines, apply guardrails, monitor performance, and optimize costs.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend skills in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience with microservices, API‑based architectures, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and Generative AI APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI).
• Familiarity with RAG architectures, embedding models, and vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, or Milvus.
• Interest in prompt and context engineering, AI‑assisted coding tools, and building systems that generate code.
