Analog Design Engineer (Graduate)

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring an Analog Design Engineer to design and develop analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for a range of applications. The engineer works under normal supervision with guidance from experienced engineers, applying standard principles and techniques to solve moderately complex circuit-design problems. The position is open to graduates and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, including sensor interfaces, data converters, multiplexers, filters and power distribution systems
• Perform block and transistor-level design, simulation, evaluation and debugging to verify performance across specified conditions
• Work with product definers, verification, process, test and application engineers to meet performance objectives
• Ensure designs meet performance targets across process, voltage and temperature (PVT) ranges
• Create documentation of designs, test results and technical specifications
• Identify and resolve design issues with guidance from senior team members
• Apply statistical design principles to ensure robustness and reliability

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in analog circuit design
• Experience with IC design for sensor interfaces, data converters or power management is a plus

Required skills

• Analog circuit fundamentals (amplifiers, filters, data converters)
• Mixed-signal IC design and CMOS circuit design
• SPICE, MATLAB and Cadence Design Suite
• IC layout tools and basic lab equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, spectrum analyzer)
