Analytics Engineer

About the role

LC Waikiki’s Digital Transformation and Information Technologies Department is looking for an Analytics Engineer to join its Data Delivery teams. You will own data analytics solutions from ingestion to reporting, working in an Agile environment and contributing to both local and global projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain incremental data pipelines on Google BigQuery using Dataform and Airflow.
• Create semantic models and enterprise reporting solutions with the Microsoft BI stack (SSAS Tabular, Power BI, SSRS).
• Provide KPIs and analytical capabilities to internal web applications built on .NET Core, Python FastAPI, and React.
• Collaborate with business units to define product vision and turn analytical requirements into long‑lived data products.
• Champion data governance, ensuring consistent metric definitions, documentation, lineage, and testing.
• Adopt AI‑assisted development practices and contribute to data agents for analytics use cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and delivering end‑to‑end data products.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL proficiency.
• Python programming.
• Google BigQuery.
• Dataform (or dbt) and Airflow.
• Microsoft BI stack: SSAS Tabular, Power BI, SSRS.
• .NET Core, Python FastAPI, React.
