Assistant Manager - Trade Finance Operations

About the role

DP World is looking for an Assistant Manager to join its growing team in Istanbul, Turkey. The role manages day-to-day Trade Finance activities, supports clients and the Sales function, and ensures transactions follow internal policies and local regulatory requirements. It works closely with customers, financial institutions and internal teams such as Sales, Compliance, Credit, Legal and Product.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Trade Finance operations in line with internal policies, procedures and local regulations.
• Support client onboarding, including registration, KYC and AML processes, while keeping appropriate operational controls.
• Process loan transactions, including disbursements and settlements, and prepare client statements and other documentation.
• Work with Sales, Compliance, Credit, Legal, Product, customers and financial institutions to ensure timely transaction execution.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, gather feedback and contribute to process improvements, system testing and wider Trade Finance initiatives.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience in Trade Finance or Corporate & Commercial Banking Operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Banking, Engineering or a related field.
• Good understanding of KYC and AML requirements for Trade Finance products.
• Proficiency in Turkish and English, written and spoken.
• Strong customer focus, communication and stakeholder management skills, and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Experience with Non-Bank Financial Institutions or Trade Finance Funds is a plus.
