Assistant Sales Manager, Group & Events

About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager, Group & Events will support the sales team in driving revenue for rooms, meetings and events at Fairmont Quasar Istanbul. You will work closely with clients and internal departments to ensure seamless execution of sales activities and events.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute sales call programmes, visit existing and potential clients to generate demand and increase business volume.
• Prepare contracts, pro‑forma invoices and follow up on pre‑payments and contractual processes.
• Communicate event and booking details clearly to operational teams and ensure timely delivery of service standards.
• Conduct site inspections, menu tastings and attend pre‑convention meetings as required.
• Identify and maximise sales opportunities across rooms, events and banquet operations to increase overall hotel revenue.

Required profile

• University degree in Tourism, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel brand in a similar sales or events role.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills, with strong negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with fluency in written and spoken English.
• Turkish language proficiency is required.
