Associate Data & AI Engineering Consultant – Entry Level

About the role

SnA is a business analytics consultancy helping blue‑chip clients in Banking, Insurance, Telco, Retail and Energy. The Associate Data & AI Engineering Consultant will work on data, analytics and AI projects for clients, designing and building scalable pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and internal consultants on data, analytics, and AI projects.
• Design and build scalable data and AI pipelines across Cloud and On‑Prem environments.
• Support the development and deployment of AI/ML models by ensuring high‑quality, well‑governed data inputs.
• Assist in the implementation of MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and performance tracking.
• Research emerging AI, Generative AI, and data engineering technologies to continuously improve existing platforms and solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical program (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, MIS) from a reputable university.
• Relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI‑related projects.
• Strong record of professional/academic/personal achievement and qualities such as intellectual curiosity, responsibility, determination, creativity, flexibility, drive, and self‑confidence.

Required skills

• Python for data engineering and AI/ML development.
• SQL and data preparation.
• Machine learning fundamentals and AI/ML pipeline concepts.
• Experience with scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost.
• Knowledge of MLOps concepts, experiment tracking, model versioning, CI/CD for ML.
• Familiarity with orchestration frameworks such as Apache Airflow or Argo Workflow.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed AI services.
• Understanding of LLM and Generative AI concepts, including prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
