Associate Purchasing – Mechanical Components

About the role

Beko is looking for an Associate Purchasing professional specialized in mechanical components. The role is based in Sütlüce, Istanbul and will support the Global Purchasing Directorate in implementing sustainable sourcing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for mechanical component materials.
• Analyse cost structures, identify reduction opportunities and lead cost‑saving projects.
• Conduct risk analyses and prepare business plans for mitigation actions.
• Design sourcing and negotiation approaches that meet business objectives while fostering long‑term supplier relationships.
• Support supplier transformation programmes focused on automation, manufacturing efficiency and quality systems.
• Benchmark productivity and costs against overseas Beko factories and adapt best practices locally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Management Engineering (Master’s/Doctorate is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proven experience in project management and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and drive personal development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Hands‑on experience using SAP.
