Associate – US Accounting & Tax (Remote, Turkey)

About the role

Manay CPA is seeking a motivated Associate to support a diverse client base with U.S. accounting and tax services. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Turkey while aligning with U.S. Eastern Time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Support onboarding of new clients and set up accounting systems.
• Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, monthly closings, and financial reporting.
• Prepare payroll, sales‑tax returns, depreciation schedules, and other required documents.
• Assist with audits, reconciliations, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and tax regulations.
• Analyze financial data to forecast revenue and evaluate profit margins.
• Prepare and file U.S. corporate and individual income tax returns, including 1099s and year‑end filings.
• Research complex tax and accounting issues and contribute to special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, audit, or tax.
• Turkish CPA (SMMM) license is a strong plus.
• Experience with outsource accounting services, US GAAP, and accounting software is advantageous.
• Strong command of Business English – all interviews are conducted in English.
• Analytical mindset with ability to conduct sophisticated data analysis.
• Highly organized, able to multitask and work in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments.
