Back End Developer (AI Infrastructure)

About the role

We are looking for Back End Developers to design, build, and optimise server‑side systems and APIs that power cutting‑edge AI products. This fully remote, flexible contract role lets you work on high‑impact AI infrastructure projects with a global team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust back‑end services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Build scalable, high‑performance server‑side architecture for AI training and inference workloads.
• Integrate with databases, message queues, cloud services, and third‑party APIs.
• Optimise system performance, reliability, and scalability as usage grows.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Proficient in one or more back‑end languages such as Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or Rust.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and effective when working asynchronously.
