Banquet Waiter / Waitress

About the role

Raffles Istanbul, a luxury hotel in Zorlu Center overlooking the Bosphorus, is looking for a passionate, service-oriented Banquet Waiter/Waitress committed to luxury hospitality and exceptional guest experiences. The role delivers personalized, professional service during banquets, conferences, weddings and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, professional service during banquets, conferences, weddings and special events
• Accurately present food and beverage offerings and support sales through appropriate recommendations and pairings
• Handle guest complaints professionally while maintaining confidentiality
• Respond promptly to special guest requests and event-specific requirements
• Ensure seamless service flow and coordinate with the banquet team and other departments
• Follow hygiene, sanitation and food safety standards throughout banquet operations
• Represent the brand through professional appearance, attitude and behaviour

Required profile

• Passion for luxury hospitality and exceptional service
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Ability to work as part of a diverse, dynamic team
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is an asset

Required skills

• Proficiency in banquet service standards, table setup, event preparation and formal service protocols
• POS operation with accurate order entry and payment processing, where applicable
