Beauty Confidant - Chanel Ambassador, Istanbul

About the role

The Beauty Confidant is a Chanel ambassador in Istanbul who embodies the brand's values, shares its heritage and know-how with clients and the team, and delivers a personalised, omni-channel experience. The role also contributes to sales targets and reports to the F&B Area Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador: embody Chanel values, share knowledge of the brand, heritage and know-how, and implement training while staying curious and proactive in learning.
• Respect the uniform and grooming guidelines and keep the work area clean, tidy, hygienic and professional, following VM guidelines.
• Create a tailor-made client experience using the CHANEL experience ritual, co-create stories with clients and blend brand culture with their personal story and the point-of-sale environment.
• Handle client service complaints and requests effectively and according to guidelines, including complex and challenging situations.
• Drive business results by achieving sales targets through products, services and data capture, retaining, recruiting and growing client return rate.
• Keep business information confidential, understand operational processes and report to the F&B Area Manager.
• Work as a team member with a positive attitude, ethical integrity, respect for cultural differences and willingness to share best practices.

Required profile

• Post-graduate degree and at least 3 years of experience in a sales position in a retail environment; luxury experience is an advantage.
• Selling skills, performance drive and knowledge of operations.
• Turkish and English are mandatory.
• Willingness to look after clients; retail experience is a plus.
