Bellboy – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Aliée Istanbul, the flagship luxury lifestyle hotel within the Tersane Istanbul complex, is looking for a professional, service-driven and guest-oriented Bellboy. The role goes beyond a traditional hospitality task: it is about creating a warm, memorable first impression for every guest, with attention to detail, genuine care and seamless service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests on arrival and departure, ensuring a personalized experience.
• Handle guest luggage efficiently and securely, including delivery, storage and collection.
• Escort guests to their rooms and give information on hotel facilities and in-room features.
• Assist with transportation arrangements such as airport transfers, valet parking and car rentals.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, inquiries and complaints.
• Coordinate with the Concierge and Front Office teams for smooth daily operations.
• Keep the lobby, entrance and luggage storage areas clean, organized and presentable.
• Deliver guest messages, parcels and other requested items.
• Stay aware of daily hotel activities, VIP arrivals and special guest needs.
• Follow hotel standards, safety procedures and luxury hospitality service guidelines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Good command of English and Turkish, written and spoken.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and excellent grooming.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Valid driving licence and active driving experience preferred.

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-oriented approach.
• Teamwork and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move luggage and perform physical tasks.
• Knowledge of Istanbul's attractions, restaurants and transport is an advantage.
