Budget and Reporting Senior Specialist

About the role

Çalık Renewables, the renewables and energy transition platform of the Çalık Group, is looking for a Finance Professional to join its growing organization. The Budget and Reporting Senior Specialist handles financial planning, reporting and compliance processes while supporting the company's strategic initiatives in the renewable energy sector. The role is onsite at the headquarters office in Zincirlikuyu, Istanbul, and sits under the supervision of the Budget and Reporting Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and ensure timely, accurate reporting in line with TFRS/IFRS
• Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance and transparency
• Take an active part in budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis and scenario planning
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for senior leadership
• Monitor key financial KPIs and support performance improvement initiatives
• Help prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations for executive management and board meetings
• Contribute to digital transformation in the finance function, including automation and system enhancements

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis
• Minimum 3 years of experience in audit firms (preferably Big Four)
• Experience in the energy sector or infrastructure projects is a strong advantage
• Written and oral fluency in English
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented and results-driven

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
• SAP experience is required
• Proficiency in BI tools is a plus
