Budget and Reporting Specialist

About the role

Adel Kalemcilik, a stationery company founded in Turkey in 1974, is looking for a Budget and Reporting Specialist to work on new projects, improve its processes and contribute to its future. The role sits within the Financial Planning and Controlling function.

Key responsibilities

• Own the consolidation, budgeting, reporting and financial analysis process within Financial Planning and Controlling
• Take part in the monthly closing and consolidation process
• Produce accurate, timely management reports including P&L, sales, OPEX, inventory and variance analysis by category, channel and brand
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses for top management
• Manage budget and year-end forecast studies
• Contribute to the profit/loss management of the category they are responsible for, working closely with Marketing and Sales
• Identify monthly variances between actual and budgeted results and share them with actionable insights
• Carry out and/or support projects and feasibility studies requested by management
• Provide financial guidance on key initiatives and support to departments
• Improve tools and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy of controlling, reporting, budgeting and analysis

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering from a reputable university
• At least 3 years of specialist experience in budget and reporting, controlling and/or financial planning and analysis
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills, attention to detail and ability to see the big picture
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented environment
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, influencing and networking skills
• Excellent command of English
