Business Development Executive – HPE

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive growth for HPE solutions within Ingram Micro’s partner ecosystem. Leveraging data insights, vendor expertise, and strong relationship management, the role focuses on expanding market share and delivering on strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a category strategy to capture emerging trends and customer needs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing partners, including strategic alliances and end‑customer acquisition.
• Maintain and negotiate strong relationships with key vendors and strategic partners.
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of competitor activity and market shifts.
• Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, product management, and operations teams to align strategies.
• Engage directly with key customers to understand requirements and drive product improvements.
• Work with product management to expand the portfolio based on market demand.
• Promote usage of the Xvantage platform among reseller partners and vendors.
• Build full‑solution offerings across multiple vendors rather than single‑vendor sales.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of the platform and technology industry.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close complex deals.
• Strong collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with strategic selling, order management, and project management.
• Advanced knowledge of Ingram Micro’s solutions and value proposition.
