Business Development Manager – Central Eurasia

About the role

Join Align Technology as a Business Development Manager for Central Eurasia, based in Istanbul. You will lead the growth strategy across Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, driving commercial expansion for the Invisalign system and related digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Central Eurasia commercial growth strategy, identifying priority markets and investment needs.
• Build country‑level business plans and market development roadmaps aligned with regional priorities.
• Own distributor strategy, including partner selection, performance management, and joint business planning.
• Lead strategic account development from opportunity identification to deal closure.
• Drive iTero digital workflow adoption and strengthen customer value propositions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Clinical Education, Finance, Logistics) to ensure effective execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of B2B commercial, business development or sales experience, preferably in medical devices or healthcare technology.
• Strong knowledge of Central Eurasia markets, channel structures and competitive landscape.
• Proven ability to develop and implement commercial strategies that deliver sustainable growth.
• Fluency in Russian and English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Excellent influencing, stakeholder‑management and project‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce preferred.
• Strong business and financial acumen (ROI, P&L, cash‑flow analysis).
