Business Development Manager - Fire & Life Safety (Turkey & CIS)

About the role

Kidde Global Solutions, a global fire and life safety technology leader, is looking for a Business Development Manager to cover Turkey and the CIS countries. The role establishes and grows the business of the KGS brands Edwards, Kidde Commercial, GST, PAVA and Aspiration by building relationships with consultants, end users, contractors and a network of distribution partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand a network of channel partners and customers in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia and other CIS countries.
• Generate new business opportunities and build relationships with distributors, contractors, consultants and end users to increase market adoption and sales growth.
• Manage business development plans, sales pipelines and forecasts to meet revenue, profitability and receivables targets.
• Support the sales team in these countries with strong customer relationships, high-quality solutions, superior customer support and ethical business practices.
• Provide commercial and technical support to partners and customers, and represent KGS at industry events, trade shows, seminars and customer meetings.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity, and champion the Voice of the Customer.

Required profile

• Engineering or other technical degree, preferably in electronics or electrical engineering; business administration university degree.
• At least 10 years of proven commercial experience in the fire alarm and security industry, with knowledge of fire detection systems, distribution channels and the Turkish market.
• Demonstrated experience in business development and channel partner management with international companies.
• Good knowledge of fire detection standards and regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in digital business tools, Microsoft 365 applications, CRM systems and AI-driven solutions.
• Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in an international, multicultural organisation and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
