Business Development Manager – Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth for AIT Worldwide Logistics. You will create and manage an account base, identify new opportunities and deliver logistics solutions that meet customer needs across our global network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business across all core logistics competencies and generate profitable revenue streams.
• Identify, initiate and engage with prospective clients, presenting tailored freight forwarding solutions.
• Create and execute a field‑sales business plan aligned with corporate revenue targets.
• Collaborate with local, regional and international operations teams to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations.
• Prepare offers, calculations, presentations and accompanying documentation.
• Conduct sales meetings, negotiations and follow‑up activities.
• Maintain accurate data in the CRM system and coordinate cross‑departmental communication.
• Support existing customers and foster long‑term professional relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in forwarding or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the supply‑chain or freight forwarding industry.
• Fluent written and spoken English; communicative Turkish required.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and independent decision‑making.
• Self‑motivated, persuasive and confident with excellent negotiation skills.
