Business Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to support DHL Supply Chain Turkey in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities across our logistics and supply‑chain services. The role bridges market research, solution design and internal coordination to help grow our customer portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Collect market data, conduct analyses and prepare summary reports for decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with internal functions (Solution Design, Operations, HR, IT, Real Estate, Legal, Finance) to gather inputs and coordinate follow‑up actions.
• Perform feasibility studies, market scans and produce technical documents that support managerial decisions.
• Maintain communication with operational and technical stakeholders in target accounts to understand needs and support relationship building.
• Provide technical inputs during contract preparation, including pricing assumptions and service scope clarifications.
• Assist in preparing Business Case Assessment documentation and follow internal approval steps.
• Create high‑quality customer presentations, technical documents and proposal materials.
• Coordinate post‑award handover of technical requirements to operational teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, solution design or project management is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and reporting abilities.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
