C++ Software Developer (MES)

About the role

Accenture is looking for a C++ Software Developer to join its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) team in Istanbul. You will work on a complex, customer‑specific MES platform, contributing to continuous development, bug fixing, and code quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance MES software using C++.
• Perform error analysis, bug fixing, and code reviews.
• Conduct code analyses to support solution architects and prepare specifications.
• Collaborate with developers and test engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ensure high quality, reliability, and practical solutions for customer projects.

Required profile

• Several years of software development experience, preferably on large, complex projects.
• Strong analytical thinking, creativity, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a comparable field.

Required skills

• Proficient in C++.
• Experience with common version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Good knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience using UML for specifications.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
• Understanding of message‑bus, service‑oriented and distributed systems.
• Experience with unit testing, BDD frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
