Capex Purchasing Specialist – Procurement & Category Management

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Capex Purchasing Specialist to join our head office team. You will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end procurement processes for capital‑intensive categories, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing processes and systems to guarantee accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage full‑cycle procurement for assigned categories, including needs analysis, market research, pricing, tendering, and negotiation.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, conduct performance and risk assessments, and create alternative supplier options.
• Coordinate contract expirations, delivery schedules, and price transitions to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Apply strategic purchasing principles, monitor market trends, and propose cost‑saving initiatives.
• Lead tender processes, prepare specifications, collect bids, and generate tender reports.
• Perform price analysis, budget control, and monthly price increase reporting.
• Support new product/service development, sample studies, and reference checks.
• Monitor payment and progress billing, resolve invoice and delivery issues, and maintain ERP pricing data.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, real estate development, architecture, retail, food & beverage or service industries.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, order management, market research, price analysis, supplier negotiation, and capital‑goods (concrete, steel, M‑E systems, equipment).
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
