Cecconi's General Manager - Soho House Istanbul

About the role

Soho House is looking for a Cecconi's General Manager for its public restaurant in Istanbul. The role covers all aspects of the business: operational efficiency, member and guest experience, staff retention and optimal profit. It includes day-to-day staff management and acts as an ambassador for the Soho House brand, working closely with the Executive Chef, the AGM F&B and the General Manager to set strategic business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead internally and externally, assessing business objectives and delivering a consistent, approachable and profitable experience that is regularly reviewed for improvement and innovation
• Assess the business daily or weekly, report on its economic and operational state and develop action plans to optimise profit, minimise margins and enhance the experience for members, guests and staff
• Follow Soho House and Co. food safety and allergy policies, work with Health & Safety leaders and comply with local, government and regional regulations
• Partner with Head Office functions such as HR, recruitment, learning and development, marketing, finance, housekeeping and facilities to drive sales and retention
• Help design policies, procedures and systems that improve operations, service and retention
• Take part in annual marketing plans and partnerships across membership, marketing, food and drink, finance and events

Required profile

• At least 10+ years managing high-volume food and beverage or multi-unit operations
• Previous experience managing F&B operations focused on service and high-quality food and drink experiences
• Strong business aptitude, driven by results and guest satisfaction, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

Required skills

• Enforce local and government-regulated food safety, risk prevention, fire prevention and emergency procedures
• Recruit and interview new hires and support their growth and development
• Monitor service trends and guest/member/staff surveys, and turn them into action items
