Client Executive Manager, Vice President (Services Financial Institution Sales)

About the role

Citi is hiring a Client Executive Manager, Vice President for Services Financial Institution Sales in Istanbul, Turkey, on a fixed-term basis of 12 months. The role is a strategic professional who stays up to date with developments in their field, acts as a recognized technical authority and advises on the technology and operations of the business. It requires basic commercial awareness and strong communication and diplomacy skills.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with a portfolio of bank clients to understand their procedures, organisation and needs, and support delivery of Citi products
• Partner with Sales and Corporate Banking Coverage teams to expand and realise revenue through cross-sell opportunities
• Work with Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit and Finance to ensure governance and control
• Drive deals through implementation, monitor revenue retention and report attrition across the client portfolio
• Act as client advocate for the Citi network of more than 100 countries, building relationships with Sales Specialists, Operations and Client Delivery
• Track pending deals, coordinate Relationship Reviews and respond to client enquiries
• Ensure KYC/AML requirements are met for new business and that AML enquiries are handled promptly
• Analyse monthly revenue, check account profitability in MIS systems and prepare summaries and forecasts
• Lead client issue resolution, including pricing and billing, and provide feedback on products and services
• Adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct, supervise business decisions, assess risk/reward and escalate control issues

Required profile

• University degree; master's degree preferred
• 8-12 years of banking experience, including client relationships, back office cash management and/or trade operations
• Knowledge of payments, liquidity and trade products in financial institutions
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, time-management and organisational skills
