Clinical Project Manager – Oncology (Biotech)

About the role

The Clinical Project Manager will lead oncology‑focused biotech studies, ensuring timely delivery of clinical trials while maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams and customers to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop integrated study management plans and set objectives for core project teams.
• Manage execution of clinical studies, optimizing speed, quality, and cost while adhering to SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Monitor progress, present updates to internal and external stakeholders, and proactively manage risks and issues.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration, vendor management, and change control processes.
• Ensure financial performance by forecasting, identifying acceleration opportunities, and managing scope changes.
• Mentor junior team members and provide performance input to line managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in project management.
• Advanced knowledge of clinical trial conduct and regulatory requirements (ICH GCP, local laws).
• Strong understanding of biotech and oncology therapeutic areas.
