Community Manager

About the role

viravira.co is looking for a full-time Community Manager to engage its growing community of travelers, sailors and yacht enthusiasts across blog, WhatsApp, YouTube and social media channels. The role focuses on content creation and curation, community engagement and coordinating guest bloggers, influencers and content creators. The ideal candidate is a fluent English speaker with strong copywriting and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement across blog, WhatsApp groups, YouTube channel and all social media platforms
• Create original written and visual content aligned with the brand voice and goals
• Manage discussions, answer questions and moderate user activity
• Coordinate guest bloggers, influencers and freelance content creators
• Plan and run social content calendars and campaigns
• Analyze engagement data to improve content performance and community growth
• Support brand storytelling through user stories and UGC
• Help organize community events, Q&A sessions and AMAs
• Work with marketing and product teams and stay up to date on community trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, media or a related field
• Fluent English and 3+ years managing social media or community engagement, preferably in a startup, travel or lifestyle brand
• Proven content creation and influencer/partner collaboration experience
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
• Self-starter with strong organization, time management and communication skills
• Familiarity with yachting, sailing or coastal travel is a plus

Required skills

• Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express or similar tools
• Social media scheduling tools such as Buffer, Later or Hootsuite
• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, YouTube Analytics and Google Analytics
• Short-form video formats (Reels, YouTube Shorts); SEO basics and WhatsApp Business are a plus
