Contract Management Team Leader – Bandırma

About the role

The Contract Management Team Leader will join Vestas' Customer & Contract Management function within the Service organisation. Based in Bandırma, Turkey, the role ensures high‑quality customer experience and professional contract administration throughout the operation and maintenance phase of wind farms.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret, summarise and advise service teams on contractual scope, obligations, rights and remedies.
• Review incoming customer and contractor communications, draft responses, notices and support settlement negotiations.
• Oversee defect claims, coordinate evaluations and resolutions across departments.
• Maintain contract databases, track lifecycle obligations and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Contribute to commercial negotiations, settlement discussions and contract amendments while adhering to internal risk policies.
• Collaborate with Service Sales, Operations, Procurement, Legal, Construction and Project Management to align on obligations, disputes, pricing and risk mitigation.
• Provide lessons learned for future contract drafting and drive continuous improvement of contract‑related processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business or a related technical/financial field.
• 5+ years of experience in contract management, preferably within the energy, wind or heavy‑construction sectors.
• Strong understanding of energy contract structures, claims, warranty issues and cost‑based claims.
• High proficiency in English.
