Convention Sales Representative

About the role

The Convention Sales Representative is responsible for managing group bookings and events at the hotel, from initial familiarisation trips to post‑event feedback. This role ensures seamless coordination between sales, operations, and accounting to deliver a successful guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct familiarisation trips and house tours for potential clients.
• Implement hotel policies and procedures related to conventions and events.
• Manage the file handed over by the Convention Sales team from handover date until group check‑out.
• Facilitate smooth information flow to operational departments and ensure successful execution.
• Issue amendment files promptly to notify operations of changes in the BEO.
• Participate in the final billing process with accounting and front desk, ensuring accurate guest charges per contract, BEOs, and amendments.
• Conduct post‑event interviews to gather guest feedback.

Required profile

• University graduate (Tourism Management preferred).
• Internship or similar experience in 5★ international business hotels is an asset.
• Fluent English with ability to interact with foreign guests and agency representatives.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
