Corporate Communications Manager

About the role

CCI, a multinational beverage company operating in Turkey among others, is looking for a Corporate Communications Manager based in Dudullu, Istanbul. The role leads internal and external communication initiatives for CCI Turkey, aligns with the company's corporate communications framework and supports the country's crisis management and community investment agendas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead communication (internal and external) initiatives and implement CCI's media disclosure policy in Turkey, coordinating external communications and keeping messaging consistent across channels
• Advise management on communication strategies and tactics, and manage press relations and networking with local media
• Act as a key contact for the Turkey General Manager and Turkey Local Manager at conferences and media gatherings
• Lead the crisis management process, prepare the organisation for crises and guide country IMCR teams, supporting the IMCR Coordinator with business segments, legal and other functions
• Support the review and implementation of communications policies (disclosure, social media, sponsorships) and corporate identity standards
• Lead the Community Investment and employee volunteerism agenda, identify local needs, build partnerships, oversee projects and measure impact

Required profile

• Bachelor's or MA degree
• At least 12 years of hands-on corporate communications experience and 6 years of managerial experience
• Excellent command of Turkish and English in writing, speaking and understanding
• Deep understanding of the Turkish media landscape and experience managing budgets and end-to-end projects
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to represent the company at senior level with government, media, NGOs, regional directors and others
• Community investment and volunteerism programme experience is a plus
