Corporate Development Director

About the role

Nizmara, an executive search firm serving Turkey, the Middle East and Europe, is recruiting a Corporate Development Director for a well-established, diversified holding company. The Group seeks to strengthen its corporate development capabilities and support its strategic growth agenda through this role.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and execute strategic growth opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, new investments and strategic partnerships.
• Evaluate new business opportunities and investment projects in line with the Group's long-term strategic objectives.
• Develop financial models, feasibility studies and investment proposals to support executive-level decisions.
• Work with business units and senior leadership on portfolio optimization and value creation.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics and potential investment opportunities across sectors.
• Prepare and present strategic recommendations and investment proposals to executive management and the Board of Directors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field; MBA is an asset.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, private equity or transaction advisory.
• Experience in diversified holding companies or investment groups is highly preferred.
• Proven track record evaluating strategic investments, acquisitions and new business opportunities.
• Experience managing complex transactions and working with senior management and Board-level stakeholders.
• Cross-industry exposure and experience in diversified business environments are strong advantages.
• Fluency in English is required.
