About the role
The Cost Controller audits and analyses hotel operational activities, providing accurate reports and recommendations to safeguard financial integrity and minimise risk.
Key responsibilities
- Perform spot checks on goods receipt, culinary yield, wastage, and material usage across departments.
- Verify food recipes, cost and sale prices, and ensure compliance during preparation.
- Audit inventory movements, conduct random inventories and compare with perpetual records.
- Create and distribute monthly cost reports and communicate discrepancies to supervisors.
Required profile
- Minimum high school diploma; university degree is an asset.
- 2+ years experience as a Cost Controller, preferably in a 5‑star hotel chain.
- Fluent in Turkish and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organisational, time‑management and ethical approach.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Experience with accounting software (specific platforms not listed).
